We regulate, coordinate and integrate all transport related activities in the state for ease of mobility of persons and goods thereby enhancing socio-economic development of the state.
Edo State Transport Authority (ESTA) is an autonomous Agency of the State Government.
Established and empowered by ESTA law of 2018 to plan, regulate and implement transport policies and programs in the State
Transport Plans and Programs
Development and implementation of transport plans, policies, and programs within the State
Transport Infrastructures
Construct, re-construct, maintain and manage transport infrastructure and facilities and other related buildings
Development of Transport Ways
Protect, maintain and improve all existing transport ways in conjunction with Federal and Local Governments
Regulations
Subject to the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria, regulate road, rail, water, air, cable and other modes of transportation within the state.

To coordinate and implement transport policies, programs and actions of all transport-related agencies in the State and make transport policy recommendations to the Governor including mechanisms for their implementation.
